The Luminar 3070 brings the advantages of AOTF‑NIR technology—typically associated with in‑line or at‑line systems—into an easy-to-use benchtop configuration. The 3070 is also naturally resistant to ambient light, making operation simple and reliable in everyday production or QC environments.
Dry Measurements — rotating‑dish reflectance for powders and granules with almost no preparation; single tablets can also be measured in reflectance. Typical speed is 5–8 seconds per sample
Liquid Measurements — flow‑cell setup where the sample is poured into a funnel, allowing a large, well‑mixed volume and supporting less homogeneous liquids. Speed is 5–8 seconds per sample
Transmission Arm with Detector — suitable for single tablets in transmission as well as seeds

The Luminar 3070 provides fast, non‑destructive NIR measurements that ensure real‑time quality control in food, agriculture, and other major industrial laboratory environments.
Key parameters measured include:
Measuring of chemical and physical properties for materials—powders, solids, liquids, gels, and tablets, and other sample types
Flour Composition Measurement
Rapid determination of moisture, protein, ash content
Sugar Monitoring
Measuring sugar content in agricultural products such as sugar beets (per NIR application report)
