Brimrose has been informed that the NASA spaceflight program for which we were selected as a contractor has been canceled. As part of this effort, we developed four customized spectrometers—each of which successfully completed rigorous testing and was fully space‑qualified to search for hydroxyl crystals on the Moon’s surface.
The first instrument was launched into space; however, due to technical issues with the launch vehicle, it did not reach the Moon. Despite this setback, we appreciate the opportunity NASA provided to expand our technology base through this program and look forward to collaborating on future missions and research initiatives.
