Snap32! v3.0

Snap32! v4.0

In addition to the main modules included in the Snap32! v3.0 software package, Snap32! v4.0 software also provides SNAPUTIL program (SnapUtil.exe) that allows users to change spectrometer detector gain and to change spectrum rejection parameters. The latest version of this analytical software was (Snap32! v4.0 rel16) was released on February 16, 2026.

Snap32! v5.0

Instead of the Aquire.exe and Pred32.exe programs used in the Snap32! v3.0 software package, Snap32! v5.0 uses the Aquire_ss.exe and Pred32_ss to support the spectrometer in storing measurements and then sending the data to these Snap32! Applications in order to allow spectrometer measurements to continue when there is a break in communications. The latest version of this analytical software (Snap32! v5.0 rel07) was released on September 18, 2025.

SEEDM-Snap32!

SeedMeister software (SEEDM) is a real-iime prediction and sorting application that runs with the latest Snap32 v3.0 to allow users to collect spectra and save sample spectral data in the Brimrose File Format file. The latest version of this analytical software (SEEDM v2.04.01 Snap32! v3.00 rel50) was released on September 16, 2025.

Snap32! OPC

In addition to the main modules included in the Snap32! v3.0 software package, Snap32! OPC also includes a special version of the Predictor32 program (Pred32-OPC.exe) that can send the spectrometer analysis data to an OPC-UA client on a customer's control system. The latest version of analytical software (Snap32! OPC v3.01 rel28) was released on November 18, 2020.
