Petrochemical Applications

Brimrose NIR spectrometers are excellent tools for measurement of fuel properties. Good results for gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and gasoil as well as BTX components in fuels in vapor analyzers can be used in process in many areas of the refinery. A 16 channel multiplexer provides a very cost effective solution for multiple stream applications such as blending.

Brimrose AOTF-NIR spectrometers are "adaptable" and a wide variety of fibers, probes, flow cells can be integrated comprehensively and safely into real process environments to meet the surging demands via different types of communication standards - Ethernet communication,modbus protocol (RS232/485/422), and 4-20mA outputs. BTX Application
Brimrose Luminar 3060 Multiplexer AOTF-NIR analyzer exhibits its excellent signal to noise ratio and dynamic range allowing the measurement of both PPM and percentage levels of BTX (Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene) components in fuels in vapor. Gasoline Blending
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR spectrometer with a transflectance probe attachment can be used to scan samples of gasoline with varying values for octane number. The AOTF technology makes the Brimrose Luminar spectrometer the ideal tool for real-time measurements, either on-line or off-line. On-line measurements needs a flow cell to be placed in the process.
