Brimrose Software Products
Brimrose software packages include Snap32! NIR spectrum analytical software package, NIR Process Quality Management System (NIRPQMS) software package that is compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 standard, AOTF Imaging System, and SPS/SPF AO driver software.
Snap32! NIR Spectrum Analytical Software Package
Snap32! is 32-bit Windows-based application software package. It consists of several application programs that use standard Windows graphical user interface (GUI) to simplify data acquisition and processing routines.
The software package is used to acquire, process, view and edit spectral data collected from the scanning LuminarTM spectrometer, which is directly attached to the controlled or monitored process.
The Snap32! program include nine modules - the Acquire, Audit Trail reader, Lampcorr, Macro, Prospect, Putget, Perftest, Predictor, and the Brimrose Profile Compiler (BPC) programs.

The following is the relationship between the Snap32! software and the Unscrambler software created by CAMO and a brief introduction of five main modules - the Acquire, Brimrose Profile Compiler, Predictor, Prospect, and Perftest of the Snap32! software package:
NIRPQMS Software Package
The NIRPQMSTM is data-driven client /server software designed to run either on separate or on the same Windows based machine. Due to the nature of the server software, it requires to be run under the Windows NT/2000/XP system while client software can be run under any Windows system.
Main NIRPQMS function modules include NIR Configuration Data Editor that defines the site-specific data required by all the OCP’s, NIR Converter that is designed to convert text configuration files into binary files, NIR OCP (Operational Control Panel), and NIR Server UI (User Interface).
The following are some functionalities of the NIRPQMS software package:

The 21 CFR Part 11 features implemented in the system include Audit Trail, System Security, Password Maintenance, and Electronic Signature Security.
Brimrose AOTF Imaging System (BAOTFIS) software
The Brimrose AOTF Imaging System software allows users to acquire hyperspectral data cubes and save them in either text or .png format. Direct and real-time control of the AOTF driver and camera are available via the application’s Graphical User Interface (GUI).

SPF II Model Control Software
The SPF II Model AOTF Controller is a high performance radio frequency generator. It provides fast frequency sweep using direct digital synthesizer incorporated into a selfcontained case with AC power supply. The software needs to know which serial port is used to communicate with the RF driver.
Some features of this driver software include:
  • Control up to 4 RF output channels
  • Minimum 8ns Frequency Sweep Interval (8ns increment)
  • Minimum 1ms Frequency Hopping Interval
  • Synchronization Output Signal during Scan Operation (Option)
  • External Trigger Input for Frequency Sweep/Hopping (Option)
SPS32 Model Driver Software
The SPS Model AOTF Controller is a high performance radio frequency generator. It provides fast frequency sweep using phase lock loop incorporated into a self-contained case with AC power supply. The software needs to know which serial port is used to communicate with the RF driver.
Some features of this driver software include:
  • Control up to 8 RF Output Channels
  • Minimum 15ms Frequency Sweep Interval
  • Minimum 20ms Frequency Hopping Interval
