This study was done as a follow-up to study Measuring Progression in a Bromination-Chlorination Reaction Using AOTF-NIR Spectroscopy. A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Laboratory spectrometer with fibers attached to a transflectance probe was used to collect spectral data on eight samples which represent the progression of a Bromination-Chlorination reaction. This study provides a accurate and precise quantitative method of analysis of chlorine levels of the progression of a bromination- Chlorination reaction.
