Transcal: Case Study With A Complex Petroleum Product Matrix

The Brimrose software program Transcal was used to transfer calibration data obtained using a Brimrose Luminar 3060 AOTF-NIR Multiplexer spectrometer to a Brimrose Luminar 6000 AOTF-NIR spectrometer using fibers and a transreflectance probe. The data transferred was spectra from a petroleum product that was used to measure cetane index, density, viscosity, and aromatics. The transfer was successful and showed that the Transcal program can be used to transfer a calibration from one spectrometer to another.
