Lumcom is available as a benchtop high-resolution (1 nm) AOTF FO Spectrometer or as individual modules for use with testing fiber optic components. Various light sources are available from broadband incoherent light sources, to high power LED's to various solid-state laser diodes (SLD) sources. All light sources are manually or computer controlled via ethernet connections for your fiber optic applications. Greatly enhanced power density within a broadband spectral range is available from a single mode fiber optic application. The 980/1300/1550 is primarily designed for WDM component manufacturing and testing. In addition, the 980/1300/1550 can be used in a variety of fiber optic sensing applications. Built-in modulation circuitry allows the use of the Lumcom as a chopped light source in addition to its use in synchronous transmission and detection systems. The heart of the Lumcom is our AOTF module, which allows rapid (16,000 wavelengths/sec) speed for analyzing your components of FO system requirements.
