Brimrose offers a complete line of focusers with very low back reflection, designed to focus light exiting a fiber to a specified beam diameter or spot size. By utilizing diffraction limited lenses, spot sizes of a few microns can be achieved. Brimrose designs and manufactures matched pairs of focusers to couple light in and out of the desired device. We look forward to applying our focusers to your device application.
Fiber optic focusers are available for any wavelength from 180 nm to 2100 nm, and can be used with multimode, single mode, and polarization maintaining (PM) fibers. Our devices maintain polarization to better than 20dB when used with PM fibers. Higher dB versions are available upon request.
We manufacture for 60 dB back reflection for our pigtailed focusers. All our fibers and grin lenses are antireflection coated in house for maximum performance. |
