Baltimore, MD – March 1, 2002 – The Brimrose Corporation will be
launching three new products at Pittcon 2002 in New Orleans on
March 18-22. Attended by more than 30,000 conferees from over
120 countries, Pittcon 2002 is the premier event of the year to
showcase new analytical instrumentation.
Adding to the successful Luminar-series product family, Brimrose
will be introducing the following new miniaturized NIR
spectrometers:
-
Luminar 3020 Thin Film Analyzer
-
Luminar 3075 Blend Control Analyzer
-
Luminar 3077 Tablet Analyzer
|
These new fast-responding and rugged spectrometers will offer
greater versatility in solving the on-line analytical and
process control needs of manufacturers in the pharmaceutical,
food & beverage, and polymer markets.
Use of Brimrose’s AOTF (Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter) analytical
technique within the NIR (Near-infrared) spectrum allows for
characterization and monitoring of chemical species and
physical/mechanical properties of a wide range of applications
to include liquids, slurries, powders and solid products.
“The impact of Brimrose’s AOTF-NIR technology on solving today's
on-line analytical needs and process control problems is
powerful. Now with the introduction of our miniaturized products
– the versatility grows”, says Ron Rosemeier, President of the
Brimrose Corporation. “For example, in the pharmaceutical
industry, our miniaturized spectrometers equipped with
battery-pack and RF transmitter allows for mounting directly on
a rotating batch blender. Now our customers can achieve great
benefits with wireless, real-time uniformity and content control
taking them to where no process analyzer has gone before.”
Brimrose will be showcasing these new products in Booth #3225 of
the Pittcon 2002 Exhibition Hall located at the Morial
Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Brimrose will also be
presenting two papers and conducting a poster session as part of
PittCon 2002’s Technical Program as shown below:
-
March 18 – Symposium - Pharmaceutical: Problem Solving I
(Session 26) – Real Time Product and Process Control in
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing by Using AOTF-NIR Technology –
