A Brimrose
AOTF-NIR large
area diffuse
reflectance
spectrometer was
used to collect
spectral data of
ground up sugar
beets (brie)
samples.
Regression
models were
created using
reference values
for Pol % Sugar
and AminoN.
Different
wavelength
ranges and data
processing was
used for the
models and the
models with the
best results
showed that the
Brimrose
spectrometer is
able to
accurately
predict Pol %
Sugar and AminoN
in brie.
