A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Free Space
spectrometer operating in diffuse
reflectance mode was used to scan
spectra of samples of corn syrup
solution with known fructose values.
The regression models showed
excellent correlation between values
predicted using spectral data and
the reference values, especially
considering the small size of the
sample set. Past experience has
shown that increasing the size of a
sample set will contribute to the
model more robust and able to make
more accurate predictions.
