AOTF-NIR Technology
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Handheld Spectrometer was used to collect spectral data of coated metals. 2 coatings were analyzed, one clear and one black. The physical appearance of the coatings would hinder the development of a quantitative method of analysis for coating thickness, but the quality of the spectra obtained from a Brimrose AOTF-NIR Spectrometer resulted in accurate, precise and robust regression models for each coating.
