Fibers Using AOTF-NIR

Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR handheld spectrometer was used to scan samples of glass fibers with varying amounts of % solids. The regression model showed good correlation despite the facts that the samples were made up from different products and that there was some potential error in the reference methods. Results should be even better when more samples are used from the same type of product with accurate reference testing for % solids.
