Carpet Pieces Using AOTF-NIR
Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose Luminar AOTF-NIR handheld
spectrometer was used to scan
spectral data on four groups of
carpet samples: Nylon 6, Nylon 6,6,
Polyethylene, and Polypropylene.
Three classification groups were
created for Nylon, PET, and PP and a
regression model was created for
Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. Prediction
results showed that these four
groups of samples can be correctly
classified from spectral data.
