AOTF-NIR Qualitative Analysis
of Loaded Additives and Resins
Abstract:
A Brimrose Free Space
spectrometer was used to
collect spectra of five
compounds that contain
polymer additives, three of
which were samples that
contained highly loaded
additives and two that were
resins that contain these
additives. A PCA model was
clearly able to distinghish
between the five compounds.
The spectra showed clear
peaks that contain relevant
spectral information for
quantitative analysis of the
level of additives in these
compounds.
