Measuring Various Parameters in
Malt Using AOTF-NIR Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose
AOTF-NIR
Free Space
Spectrometer
was used to
scan
spectral
data on malt
samples with
reference
values for
11 different
parameters.
Regression
models were
created for
all
parameters
and
validation
samples were
used for
predictions.
The results
were good
considering
the small
size and
range of the
sample set
and the
regression
coefficients
for all the
models
indicated
that the
models were
fitting
relevant
information
from the
spectral
data.
