AOTF-NIR Determination of
Acid and Alcohol in Vinegar
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Luminar
spectrometer was used to
scan spectral data on six
different types of vinegar.
Reference values were
provided for acid and
alcohol and regression
models were crated to
correlate the spectral data
to acid and alcohol in the
vinegar. The results were
excellent and showed that
the Brimrose ATOF-NIR
Luminar spectrometer can be
used to calculate values for
acid and alcohol in vinegar
using spectral data and a
calibration model.
