Determination of Low Level Moisture
in Dichlorobenzene in the Presence of
Hydrogen Chloride
Abstract:
A follow-up study was done on the
first dichlorobenzene study to
ensure that the results of the first
study were directly related to the
presence of water in the
dichlorobenzene. It was necessary to
verify that the presence of water
could be measured in the presence of
hydrogen chloride. The results
verified that the Brimrose AOTF-NIR
spectrometer is sensitive and
accurate enough to measure residual
amounts of water in dichlorobenzene
even in the presence of hydrogen
chloride.
