Measuring % Concentration of
S-Silanen Using AOTF-NIR
Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Free
Space spectrometer was used
to scan spectral data on 17
samples with varying
concentration of s-silanen.
The samples consisted of
sodium chloride sediment
with ethanol and s-silanen.
The samples consisted of
sodium chloride sediment
with ethanol and s-silianen
in the liquid phase and
where stirred during
scanning. There was a very
clear spectral difference in
a sample with a much higher
concentration of s-silanen
and modeling and predictions
proved that the
concentration of s-silanen
can be measured using
spectral data.
