The Measurement of Various Physical
and Chemical Parameters in Soil Using
AOTF-NIR Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose Luminar Free Space
spectrometer was used to scan
spectral data of soil samples with
varying physical and chemical
parameters. The spectral data and
reference values were used to create
regression models for the various
parameters. The results were good
and could be improved by
incorporating a larger sample set
over the entire range of the
regression and by adding samples
with variations that often occur in
natural products such as sample
location and season.
