AOTF-NIR Determination of % Ethanol
and Menthol % in a Spray Solution
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Luminar
spectrometer was used to scan
spectral data on mixtures of ethanol
and menthol in varying proportions.
Regression models were created for
both ethanol and menthol and these
models were used to do predictions
on the mixtures. The predictions
were very accurate and proved that
the Brimrose AOTF-NIR Luminar
spectrometer can measure % ethanol
and % menthol in a mixed solution.
