Abstract:
The Brimrose software program
Transcal was used to transfer
calibration data obtained using a
Brimrose Luminar 2040 AOTF-NIR Free
Space spectrometer to a Brimrose
Luminar 2000 AOTF-NIR spectrometer
using fibers and a transreflectance
probe. The data transferred was
spectra from a petroleum product
that was used to measure cetane
index, density, viscosity, and
aromatics. The transfer was
successful and showed that the
Transcal program can be used to
transfer a calibration from one
spectrometer to another.
