AOTF-NIR Discrimination Analysis of
Corn Varieties HY5, HY7, and Dent
Abstract:
A Brimrose Seed Meister was used to
collect spectral data on several
hundred corn kernels consisting of
three different varieties. Two
different PLS models were created;
the first separated the Dent corn
from the two HY varieties and the
second separated the HY5 and HY7
varieties. Both models were
successful and proved that the
Brimrose Seed Meister was able to
separate all three varieties of
corn.
