Cellulose (AvicelTM) Using AOTF-NIR
Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Luminar 3030 Free Space
Spectrometer was mounted on the window of a
spray dryer and spectra were collected from four
different product types of AvicelTM
with varying amounts of moisture. Reference data
were collected for moisture in the AvicelTM.
A PCA model was clearly able to distinguish
between the four product types of AvicelTM
and PLS 1 regression model was able to quantify
moisture in all four product types of AvicelTM.
