Measuring Siloxane Polymer
Concentration in Antacid Tablets Using
AOTF-NIR Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Free Space
spectrometer was used to scan
spectral data on antacid tablets
with different concentrations of
siloxane polymer. There were clear
spectral differences and regression
modeling showed good correlation
between the spectra and siloxane
polymer concentration. Prediction
results proved the validity of the
model.
