Classifying Capsules in Blister Packs
Containing an Excipient Powder With and
Without Tablets Using ATOF-NIR Spectroscopy
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Free Space
spectrometer was used to scan spectral
data on blister packs containing a
powder both with and without a tablet
inside the capsule. A classification
model was set up and real-time
predictions were done. The results
showed that the two types of blister
packs could be classified using spectral
data.
