Evaluation of AOTF-NIR Spectroscopy for
Identification of Polymorphs
Abstract:
A Brimrose AOTF-NIR Luminar Free Space
spectrometer was used to scan spectral data on 3
samples of varying conditions pseudo-polymorphs
and two samples of true polymorphs. The purpose
of the test was to see if there were relevant
spectral differences that could be used for
quantifying the ratio of the polymorphs. The
results showed that there were spectral
differences that could be used for quantitative
determination of the ratios.
