Using AOTF-NIR Transmission
Spectroscopy
Abstract:
The Brimrose Luminar 3030
Tablet Analyzer was
configured to operate in
transmission mode for the
purpose of measuring dosage
levels in pharmaceutical
tablets. Spectral data were
collected for placebo
tablets and tablets of
varying dosage level. A
model was created using
reference data for dosage
levels and the spectral data
and the results showed that
the Brimrose Luminar 3030
Tablet Analyzer was able to
distinguish between placebos
and actives and was able to
measure the dosage level in
the active tablets.
