Candidate will work with technology department to design, specify, demonstrate and put new optical products and processes into production.

Requirements: AS in Optical Technology, Laser Technology. 3-5 years experience in general optical industry or 1-3 years experience in Optics Industry specializing in DWDM device manufacture.

Skills Required: Computer literacy required including MS Office and Project. Products to Be developed include Fiber Bragg gratins and narrow band filters for 200GHz to 50 GHz DWDM telecommunication applications. Must be experienced with operation and maintenance or eximer lasers, optical bench layout, precision alignment and characterization of optical devices. Must be familiar with handling of hazardous chemicals and gasses. Must be able to perform complex tasks after receiving minimal verbal instructions.
