Brimrose is dedicated to turn ideas into reality. We bring the best and the brightest people together to invent your tomorrows.
Brimrose AOTF technology has been recognized throughout the world for the past 40 years. Our Acousto-Optic devices have been on the International Space Station and our AOTF-NIR spectrometers are now on their way to the moon to help NASA's search for water.
Turning ideas into reality began with an idea for GHz acousto-optic devices in the early 1980's. Brimrose developed the technique to make it happen. And to this day, we are the only AO company to offer high frequency devices in custom-built small packages.
The FDA and a major pharmaceutical company approached Brimrose about developing an NIR spectrometer using our AOTF. Within six months, we built the first spectrometer. The Brimrose AOTF-NIR is still the ideal instrument for process analytical technology (PAT) and in-line/at-line analysis.

Again, an idea became reality when Brimrose secured an SBIR to create an AOTF based hyperspectral imager. Unlike push broom technologies, the AOTF Imager takes a complete snapshot at each wavelength and outputs an entire data cube.
